Searching for Faith
Faith McKnight spends her days working at her friend’s bakery, her nights chatting with her cat, and her time between visiting the cemetery where her father is buried. It is the only place that brings her some solace. That is, until she locks eyes with a stranger on one of her visits…who seems as broken as she is.
Micah Jacobs spends his days fixing cars at his uncle’s shop, his nights hanging with his best friend, and his time between with family, when in an instant, his life is altered forever. Consumed with grief and numb to the world, until the gaze of a stranger sitting alone in the cemetery a short distance from where he just buried his sister temporarily breaks through…in her he sees someone as lost as he is.
Together, Faith and Micah form a unique bond over shattered hearts and grief-stricken lives.
Can they find faith in life, love, and happiness again?
Or will they have to keep searching for faith?

Love Always: A Book of Poetry
This twenty-eight poem collection is about what I experienced in the few weeks leading up to my mom’s passing and the first six months after her death in July of 2019. Writing these poems became part of the grieving process for me. My hope is that the poems in this book help you feel a little less alone on your journey with grief. I have learned that grief is a tricky beast that presents itself in a variety of ways and is different for every person. Even though we all grieve differently we are alike in the hurt that we experience is profound and valid. Talking to people about my grief made me realize I am not alone and that gives me comfort on the most uncomfortable days.
